decided to spend some time updating dis blog  it must be terrible for deardear at work now.. 4 projects active at one go!! :-[ really poor thing.. wish one dae i can be his secretary n help him!!! hope he doesn't need to stay too late todae.. cant believe its tuesdae. 2 full daes of work ahead. also gota spend some time clearing my work during the weekend!! y can't i hav a REAL holidae. was supposed to collect my evening gown todae but too much inertia. prefer to go with deardear too  updates on our trip preps: yukatas (dark colours) - went to change mine yesdae cos' my bro said the one i'd chosen looked like a CURTAIN!! :-p so aniwae, we went back to change. the salesgirl at NAGOMI (Central Mall) is NOT helpful at all. she was tying the obi without even teaching me. jus anxious to finish tying. REGRET buying from this shop! (deardear told me to wait and look ard.. but i was too anxious to buy everything) i'm having difficulty learning to tie the obi sobs!! deardear's luckier!! his doesnt need tying! japanese clogs (geta) - bought from Akhibara Japanese Products (Central Mall), complete with socks!! the socks r quite weird!! look like webbed feet after wearing 'em. he he! the products in this shop r ALOT cheaper than NAGOMI. maybe it's becos' NAGOMI is run by Japanese? there was a japanese staff there but i think the local staff is the one helping customers put on the yukata :-[ aniwae, Akhibara staff is ALOT more helpful. i told her honestly i got most of my stuff frm NAGOMI. got the japanese bag frm her too. so now, our japanese get-up is COMPLETE!!! yeay!! gowns/suits - deardear's suit is being tailored at Raffles Tailor. He looks sooo slim n smart in his suit!! hope we chose the right colour though! abit worried that the colour of the vest and the suit may not match? cos' the vest was only ordered at the fitting when the image consultant wasn't around.. hope the tailor gave a gd recommendation! aniwae, i'm sure deardear will look DASHING!!!!!! my evening gown is not the fanciful sort found in bridal boutiques.. it's really simple, made of raw silk and empire-waist design. very overpriced!!! but cldn't help it, the lady could tell deardear n me liked it!! sigh.. i find that the pepl in this industry make very easy money!!! the price is like 2-3 times the price at online shops from USA.. but can't realy trust the online shop. what if the material quality is poor and workmanship is horrible?!? my wedding gown's been hanging pretty on my cupboard can't wait to wear it.. but i need to lose quite abit of weight. he he finally got the veil that i wanted. was quite agitated yesdae cos' my family was poking fun at the original veil, which i agree, looks like a table cloth!! GOSH. i can't believe the designer who designed my gown could match it with THAT veil. i'm sorry casey, but it just clashes with the gown. aniwae, bro said my current veil looks like a fishnet, n so did deardear. GUYS - what do they knoe abt veil material? Most veils r made of fishnet-like. aniwae, im toying with the thought of getting someone to sew crystals on the veils to make it a little prettier. THE shoe - really pissed with takashimaya. bought my shoe at 105 and found it 50% off at hush puppies yesterdae!!!!!!! URGGGGGGGGH! dis always happens to me. i think im jinxed when it comes to $$  SAD. Hotel bookings - had a hard time with this!!! in the end, got our hotels thru zuji.com. really good, fast n hassle-free! UNLIKE asiarooms.com AND asiarooms.com customer service staff (Thai girls) ARE SOOOOO RUDE and spoke as though i was booking the hotels for free! HATE them! land of smiles MY FOOT! i will NEVER NEVER EVER step into thailand UNLESS i have no choice! won't spend a penny contributing to their economy! Photography - still no news from kelvin koh :-[ i knoe he's really busy with many other projects, moving house etc but i really need to knoe abt my make-up arrangement!!!! urggghh! will give him a call this weekend if still no reply. not sure why kyoto and japan in general is not popular as an overseas wedding photoshoot location? so far pepl go to paris, venice, perth, bali, taiwan... think deardear and me r just SPECIAL but i'm realy keeping my fingers and toes crossed!!! i wana see nice pictures of us with the sakura and all! After putting in so much effort, wiping out our bank accounts and taking no-pay leave, i really really hope the album will be something i'd wana flip everydae for at least the next year till our wedding he he Makeup/Hairstyle - ok, so i havent been keeping my hair long n i haven't tried to improve my make-up. gotta do this by next week!! target - sign up for workshop by 15th march (saturdae). maybe i'll call photog after blogging. DIET - where do i even start??? i can't seem to start!! maybe i keep telling myself 1.5 weeks is enuff.. MOTIVATION wanted, desperately. Also need DETERMINATION!! no more mee poks, no more french fries, no more potato chips, no more bak pok. Suitcases - have one hard case one, need another one and one soft-cover trolley kind. Winter clothing - need to dig out and get deardear to dig out his too! just in case we need to send for drycleaning. it's gona be quite cold!!! Currency - need to change. maybe i've gota monitor the exchange rate soon. Miscellaneous necessities - good thermos flask, international adaptor, hairdryer, hairspray, moisturiser, panadol, flu/diarrhea medicines, air-sickness pills etc! ITINERY - still haven't gotten to this.. wow.. think deardear n me mus settle this soon.. think i'll do this tonite... been too nua :[p I don't wan my 8 daes in japan to end too quickly!! lookin forward to all 8 daes of it!!!!!
